The 2018 Wedding Season has begun at Carlos Creek. Not that we don’t host weddings throughout the year, but the bulk weddings occurs from May 1 – Nov 1. That’s when we have back-to-back Friday and Saturday weddings nearly every weekend. It’s exciting, romantic and an honor to be a part of this most special day in a couple’s life. This year, I’ll be experiencing a Carlos Creek wedding from the perspective of the Mother of the Groom, so I thought it would be fun to go back through all ten years of CCW wedding photos and pull out my favorite.
1. LOVE IN THE VINES

3. Guys Goofing Off
This clever photographer staged this great shot of groomsmen who all apparently like to golf!
4. A Private Moment Before the Guests
I have always loved roadways with overhead trees that have grown together in an arch and this photo shows this aspect of our Natural Cathedral perfectly. The trees also help keep outdoor ceremonies cool during hot summer days. Something we will be testing out ourselves this summer as our son gets married at the winery on June 30th!
5. Vintage Glam
Gotta love the red truck! It has to be the most photographed spot at the winery and I love the way it adds a pop of color to wedding photos.
6. Natural Beauty
I love this shot of our good friend walking his daughter (and our former wedding coordinator Katie) down the aisle of our Natural Cathedral. 7. Dramatic Lighting
This elegant, indoor ceremony actually occurred on Halloween! The bride is a former dance student of mine and she used the Halloween theme to great advantage throughout her wedding. So fun, so elegant and so unique. My favorite indoor ceremony. Loved it! Photo by: Cori Miller Photography
8. Bring on the Floral
Our in-house floral designer does such a great job with all of our weddings, but I particularly loved what she put together for this couple. Simple, but not spartan and totally matched the natural setting. The enchanting bride reminds me of Maid Marion getting married to Robin Hood in the Sherlock forest.
9. Little Gentlemen
I can’t resist kids at weddings! Weddings are about joining two families together in support of the newlyweds and nothing says family more than kids. We have dozens of great photos of the cutest flower girls ever, but this one of these two ring-bearers trumps the girls. Adorable!
10. Show your Personality
Getting some air! Clearly no thoughts of remorse here, and possibly a career in the NBA awaits!
11. It’s All in the Details
Love this shot of the gorgeous barrel stave wall that my talented husband constructed. What an elegant background for the gift table or buffet.
12. Rustic Romance
Further evidence that Mary, our floral designer, is a creative genius. She hand-wired magnolia blossoms to the grapevines growing on our Gazebo for this couple’s outdoor dance. 13. Beauty for Days
ahh….Our alley of trees. You just can’t miss with a photo here. There were so many great ones, it was difficult to choose, but the back of this bride’s dress tipped the scale. Just so beautiful.
14. Joy in the Vineyard
I love the pure JOY expressed in this photo. Our team works really hard to make sure every Carlos Creek wedding couple feels like this on their special day. They do such a great job – I’m so proud of them!
15. The Send Off
Nothing caps the wonderful day off better than being surrounded by friends and family…and flaming sticks of fun!! Wine barrel, rustic barn doors and the pure romance in this photo really capture the beauty of the big day!
